Just as an example, I love that the “secret society” isnt just some omnious building with stuff in it but actually gives space to play out in your imagination because its not readily available. Same goes for sororiety and fraternity life. I’ve yet to have any of my sims that have been in university try to friend a memory of the houses but having the option extends my game play. In Sims 3, I almost always automatically have my girls join the sorority house, no trouble.
Runs great with my old XP.. Came as described! Key code worked and I experienced no issues at all! In this expansion, you can send any of your teen sims to college. To graduate, the student has to be in college for 4 years, 72 hours Sims time per year.
If you get bored with it, you can always drop out of college. The benefit of graduating is they can have 6 aspirations instead of the typical 4, and get paid more for the same job a non-college graduate works.
They can live in dorms or their own apartment, but not at home. College life doesn’t seem especially exciting in my opinion, you have to complete term papers and assignments to be on the Dean’s List, but classes are only 3 hours a day – the time your class is depends on your major. There are 2 careers that you can only work if you graduate from college, I think it’s Show Biz and something else.
One person found this helpful. Great game. The only problem i Have with sims games is that when you uninstall them and try to reinstall is that they come up and tell you that the game is already installed and will not let you reinstalled the game.
Most other progams will at least tell you that the game is installed , do you wish to overwrite. THis is not the case with the sims.
I have at least 2 expansions packs that i can not use because of this problem. I have tried every thing and the only thing that worked is a reformat of the hard drive. And believe me sooner or later your will have to reload the program. The university element is a great addition to the game, it opens up all sorts of opportunities and interactions.
