Hey All! Having some issues with a Public Folder Calendar that we share among my team. Recently upgraded to Outlook on Windows and I noticed that our calendar disappeared from my “Other Calendars” sub-category. I can then locate the calendar, add it to my favorites, and find it in the ellipses menu’s “Public Folders” and “Favorites” folder. If I click into the calendar and actually view it from this pane, the calendar then appears under “Other Calendars” from the calendar menu. However, it’s gone again when I restart Outlook.

Calendars have been dragged from Other Calendars into the user-created ‘Rooms’ calendar group to keep them tidy. At random, this ‘Rooms’ group turns blank, as does the ‘Other Calendars’ group. Once I navigate back to public folders and can see the list of these calendars in my public folder favourites, they all re-appear under ‘Other Calendars’. If a user has assigned colors to the calendars in question, those colors are remembered by Outlook when the problem occurs.

In Outlook, the calendars are added to Public Folder Favourites, causing them to be viewable under ‘Other Calendars’ in the calendar view. OWA does not give the option to add public folder favourites.
Issue occurs for all of the 6 users who require this functionality. It occurs intermittently when they log into a PC on a fresh boot up i. There is no pattern that I have found that correlates to when a particular user’s calendar organisation will stop working on any given PC. The user’s calendars had disappeared from the organisational groups in the calendar view. They were also not viewable in the ‘Other Calendars’ list, which was empty.
As soon as I navigated back to the calendars in the Public Folders favourites, they reappeared on the ‘Other Calendars’ list in calendar view, and they did not revert to their previously organised state.
Calendars have been dragged from Other Calendars into the user-created ‘Rooms’ calendar group to keep them tidy.
At random, this ‘Rooms’ group turns blank, as does the ‘Other Calendars’ group. Once I navigate back to public folders and can see the list of these calendars in my public folder favourites, they all re-appear under ‘Other Calendars’.
If a user has assigned colors to the calendars in question, those colors are remembered by Outlook when the problem occurs. One’s on Mac, one’s on Windows. Thank you for this information. I am using Outlook via Office with an Outlook. I noticed recently that many of my calendar appointments are not showing on the Outlook calendar. When I check the OWA the appointments are visible, and they are visible on other devices such as my iPhone. The appointments are also visible on the Windows 10 calendar app, it is just Outlook which is not displaying them. The appointments were visible for a while on the calendar while Outlook re-synched everything, then they disappeared once the calendar synch was complete.
