Just like the first game, it turns the popular catch-em-all experience into a tower defense RPG hybrid complete with its own evolutions, story, mystery gifts, badges, and more.
There are a couple of changes to the story mode. There is now an overworld where you can walk around and interact wit the world much like the original Pokemon games. This makes it a lot more in line with the Pokemon games of the mainline, official games that really elevate it above a lot of other flash games. All in all, Pokemon Tower Defense 2 is a very strong game and is incredibly fun to play through, and seeing how each Pokemon will play out on the field is incredibly fun.
